Odroid-XU4Q with Passive Heatsink

The Odroid-XU4Q with passive heatsink is actually the revision of the original Odroid-XU4. As far as the processing and other specs are concerned, both are identical. With XU4, the users complained about the noisy fan so the engineers revised the board and replaced the fan on XU4 with a taller heatsink so the new version came out as XU4Q. The Odroid-XU4Q contains a couple of processors as well as a Mali-T628 MP6 GPU. It also features a PoP stacked 2Gbyte LRDDR3. The board is compatible with Ubuntu 16.04, Linux, and Android 5.0 Lollipop/4.4KitKat/7.1 Nougat. You can easily call it a super Single-Board computer.

Important Consideration

  • You require an additional eMMC or a MicroSD Card to install the Operating System. We prefer eMMC over MicroSD Card because eMMC performs much better and quicker. With eMMC, booting is faster, app launching is also quicker, and multitasking becomes easier.
