The successful Orange Pi Zero has inspired the release of an even better open source board, the Orange Pi Zero Plus equipped with H-5 Allwinner SoC which is even better than that of Pi Zero H2 Plus. The rest of the features are more or less identical to those of Orange Pi Zero. There is one significant amendment - more on the downside - that the 1000M Ethernet Port has replaced the PoE Ethernet Gate. The revised board is compatible with Android 5.1, Debian, Raspberry Pi Image, and Ubuntu Operating Systems.

  • The Orange Pi Zero Plus comes with Quad-Core H5 Cortex-A53 (64-Bit)
  • The GPU, Mali-450 Hexa-Core supports OpenVG 1.1, OpenGL ES 2.0/1.1/1.0, and EGL 40 GFlops
  • The GPU also helps better pixel generation, over 2.7GPixels
  • The board comes with DDR3 512MB SDRAM to support the CPU as well as the GPU
  • Features 2MB SPI Flash
  • Also Supports TF Card (Up to 32GB)
  • The board comes with a WiFi Antenna
  • Features IEEE 802.11 b/g/n , RTL8189FTV (Realtek) Onboard WiFi
  • Equipped with RJ45 Ethernet (1000M/100M/10M)
  • The board supports 13-Pins External Board Video Output
  • Configured to support USB OTG power supply
  • Contains (1x3) UART, Ground GPIO
  • 1x 2.0 USB HOST
  • 1x 2.0 USB OTG
  • Contains an SW602 (Power Button)
  • Features 26-Pin (Raspberry Pi B+ Compatible) Header
  • Also contains 13-Pin Header supporting IR Pin, 2x USB, and Audio (AV/MIC)
  • 1x Power LED
  • 1x Status LED
  • Compatible with Android 5.1, Debian, Armbian Image, Raspberry Pi Image, and Ubuntu Operating Systems
  • Dimensions (L x W) = 48mm x 45mm
  • Weighs no more than 26-grams

Apart from the lack of an Ethernet PoE gate, the Orange Pi Zero Plus is a pretty appreciable open source board. The shape is almost square (48mm x 45mm) and easy to handle. It is ready to serve you without requiring any modifications or extensions.
